The Girl Scout Mariner Program is designed for adventurous campers who have a passion for water activities. Our waterfront team will teach you all about the different watercrafts at Camp Cloud Rim, how to efficiently steer canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards, and how to recover after capsizing. Show off your new skills with an end-of-the-week regatta! When you’re not at the waterfront, enjoy classic camp activities such as exploring nature, arts and crafts, and time around the campfire.

"The perfect camp for beginning backpackers, spend the first day of camp reviewing outdoor skills and learning how to pack your backpack. Then, your group will hit the trails on Tuesday morning and return Thursday night. Backpackers will enjoy magnificent views, outdoor cooking, and stargazing. Be prepared for challenging hikes and rock-solid friendships. Campers will earn the Cadette Primitive Camper or Senior Trail Adventure badge.
Campers will carry all supplies on their back (up to 1/4 of their body weight) and hike 3-4 miles to different campsites each night. Our staff will provide sleeping bags, backpacks, and other gear. Campers will receive an additional packing list. Backpackers will be transported to program sites by camp staff. "

"The Leader-in-Training program (LIT) is a building block for Girl Scouts of Utah’s Leadership Programs. LIT is a prerequisite to the Counselor-in-Training, Wrangler-in-Training, and Junior Counselor/Wrangler programs. This 10-day camp includes traditional camp programming opportunities, youth development, and a camp service project.
You’ll attend workshops covering the Camp Program Quality Assessment tool, youth developmental stages, belonging, rainy day backup plans, and games without equipment. These workshops are focused on helping you learn and improve your communication and teamwork skills and traits. LITs will also work on their outdoor skills and have the opportunity for an overnight experience. "

CITs will expand their skills in camp counseling, improve their ability to manage and teach children, learn about risk management, and practice resolving difficult situations. During your second week, you will be placed with a unit of campers or a program area at Camp Cloud Rim.
