"The Leader-in-Training program (LIT) is a building block for Girl Scouts of Utah’s Leadership Programs. LIT is a prerequisite to the Counselor-in-Training, Wrangler-in-Training, and Junior Counselor/Wrangler programs. This 10-day camp includes traditional camp programming opportunities, youth development, and a camp service project. You’ll attend workshops covering the Camp Program Quality Assessment tool, youth developmental stages, belonging, rainy day backup plans, and games without equipment. These workshops are focused on helping you learn and improve your communication and teamwork skills and traits. LITs will also work on their outdoor skills and have the opportunity for an overnight experience. "

During Little Beakers' Simple Machines and Chain Reactions Camp - Ages 9+, participants will identify and test 5 basic simple machines , conduct a variety of Newton’s Laws of Motion experiments, design, build and test a Rube Goldberg inspired machine and much more!

At McKee Language Schools, kids learn Spanish through fun, hands-on play. From cooking to crafts to games, our full immersion teaching method makes language learning feel like a party—natural, engaging, and joyful—a great way for your child to spend their summer! Our 10 week Summer Session runs from June 8th-Aug13th. Full day Spanish experience as well as 4 and 5 Day/Week options available. Morning and afternoon session, 8:45-11:45 am, 12:30-3:30 pm.

Teen Chef Academy I is multi-day series that is modeled after our professional culinary institute. In this series, your teen chef will experience a taste of culinary school! This course will introduce young, aspiring chefs to culinary concepts, kitchen basics and fundamental techniques. It includes six 5-hour days on Saturdays during Summer 2026, a graduation ceremony, a chef coat and beanie, as well as all of the curriculum/learning materials in a customized binder.

Students will design and build a variety of models while experimenting with LEDs, potentiometers, switches, sensors, infrared technology, connectors, tilt mechanisms, and motors. Projects may include windmills, energy-saving lights, impact drills, tilt-sensor lifters, and even walking insect models.

Join Spock's Skate Camp and learn everything you need to shred like a pro!

This camp introduces students to the fundamentals of video production and content creation. Participants will learn how to film and edit videos, trim and rearrange clips, and add backgrounds to enhance their projects. They will experiment with camera angles, lighting, and storytelling techniques to make their videos stand out. Students will also explore how to combine images, text, animations, and music to create unique clips that reflect their creativity.

This camp will focus on: Recognizing Emotions Sharing Emotions Processing Emotions Understanding/Handling Anxiety, Depression, or Anger. Regulating Emotions In Social Situations

Students who love drawing and animation will take their skills to the next level by using Maya modeling software to bring characters and designs into the 3D world. They will create their own 3D models in any style they choose, from cartoonish monsters to stylish race cars. In this camp, you’ll be the painter, the sculptor, and the curator of your own mini art gallery!

This camp is designed for students who are ready to take their robotics skills to the next level. Working with experts from Learning Through Robotics, participants will learn how to code and program LEGO Mindstorms NXT robots to complete tasks modeled after FIRST LEGO League competitions.

The JCC has been running summer camps for children ages 2 through tenth grade for generations. Located close to The University of Utah hospital and campus, our camps include swim lessons, field trips, art, fun activities, and memories to last a lifetime! We have a very high retention rate of counselors (they come back year after year because it's so fun!), which translates to campers having the time of their lives!
