Professional musicians know that the thrill of performing on stage with a group of bandmates is what makes the hours of personal practice worth it. So why limit an experience that valuable to just professionals? KIDS CAN ROCK TOO! Here at AMP, we provide young musicians with the opportunity to do just that, all while learning some important lessons along the way.
Our group programs are designed to help students apply what they learn in private lessons, moving from the practice room to the stage.
The format of each program varies, but each runs over a semester of about 13 weeks and culminates with a large capstone showcase or project.
Our Jam Bands program is for those who want the experience of our summer camps to extend throughout the year. Now you don't have to wait till the summer to rock out with a band!
