Sensory Friendly Saturday occurs every Saturday between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. During these hours, the museum lights and sounds are adjusted throughout the free exhibit area as well as in the Dome and IMAX® theatres to facilitate a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for visitors with sensory needs.

To kick-off the arrival of Traveling Treasures: Woven Through Time in Tooele, Utah, we’re hosting a Community Science and Culture Night for all ages to enjoy! This is a FREE public event at Zions Bank at 998 N Main Street, Tooele, Utah. We’ve brought the Natural History Museum of Utah to you! Explore the natural world around you through learning stations (hosted by NHMU and our community partners), hands-on activities, museum specimens, and by talking with NHMU experts who want to answer all your questions! As a bonus, you may even win a prize for participating!
