Families can step back in time to explore Utah's history and heritage. The park offers replicas of historic homes and shops, living history demonstrations, farm animals, train rides, and special events. Birthday party packages are available. General Information:
This is the Summer Fun Place for Everyone! Ride trains, pan for gold, ride Big Red our new fire truck, around the Fire House Loop! Meet our farm animals and ride ponies! Interact with the Blacksmith, Tinsmith and Saddle-maker! Card and spin wool, make take-home crafts, do pioneer chores, play old-fashioned games and so much more! Visit the Native American Village and see the Native Dancers daily.
Hungry? Great grub at the Huntsman Hotel, old-fashioned ice crème at the Huntsman Saloon, "Penny" Candy and nostalgic treats at ZCMI, and a little bit of sugary heaven at Brigham's Donuts. The Gift Shop is open seven days a week where you'll find everything from coonskin caps to designer jewelry. There is something for everyone and the parking is always free.

Each Sunday you can enjoy a historic tour on one of our three replica trains and a self-guided tour through the Park. All the natural beauty comes free of charge!

As many families are heading back into the school year, whatever that looks like for you this year, we're here to help! Visit This Is The Place At Home, our online Park experience, for quick and digestible videos, activities, and facts about Utah's history. 

All teachers interested in sharing these resources with their classes are welcome to! Our online resources cater to students and families of all ages. We know many classes are missing out on field trip opportunities this year, and we hope that our virtual pioneer experiences help fill in for those missed adventures this year.

All of our educational Facebook Live videos are accessible through This Is The Place At Home, so students don't need social media accounts to view our virtual pioneer experiences!
