The Ogden Nature Center is a 152-acre nature preserve, offering trails, ponds, observation towers, gardens, summer camps, outreach education, onsite classes, special events, and live animal explorations. It's a great place to snow shoe in the winter.
Located in the heart of urban Ogden, Utah, the Ogden Nature Center is a 152-acre nature preserve and nature education center.
ONC is home to earth-friendly buildings, live exhibits of native animals, ponds, bird blinds, observation towers, tree houses, walking trails and beautiful gardens. In addition, the Ogden Nature Center's 23-acre nature preserve on Mountain Road in North Ogden offers a wetland loop trail.
The Ogden Nature Center offers community programs, outdoor field trips for school children, outreach education, summer camps and special community events for all ages.
Open to the public and supported by private memberships and supportive grants, the Ogden Nature Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 am - 5 pm and Saturday from 9 am - 4 pm.
Community programs are designed to connect people of all ages to the natural world. No matter what your interest, we have a class you will enjoy.
