Game Design: Multiplayer Madness (Age 12-14)

Whether inspired by Overcooked or New Super Mario Bros, cooperative play makes gaming more fun and challenging. This course will cover the many layers of co-op game design, from enemy interactions to the effects of friendly fire. Using Unreal Engine, students will create multiple controller inputs and build levels that require coordinated problem solving. Multiplayer video games introduce new challenges for players, but they also double the fun. Co-sponsored with Utah Division of Games.
