Students will jump into the world of computer science with Scratch, an age-appropriate programming language designed to teach the fundamentals of coding. They will explore graphics, animations, sound, and more as they design their own character and create an environment for it to live in. Students will then give their character a purpose by developing a storyline or gaming objective. Co-sponsored with Utah Division of Games.

This hands-on STEM camp takes students on an exciting journey through the physics that make roller coasters work. Each day focuses on a key concept - gravity, friction, centripetal force, and projectile motion - while campers design, test, and refine their own coaster models. Through engaging experiments and collaborative challenges, students will learn how energy, motion, and engineering principles combine to create thrilling rides.

Welcome to the Art Cafe - Salt Lake City's most imaginative dining-inspired art studio experience! Designed exclusively for kids, this camp turns art-making into a deliciously fun adventure. Campers will "order" from a menu of creative projects, from painting and sculpting to mixed-media masterpieces. Just like at a real cafe, their "server" will deliver all the materials they need to bring their ideas to life.

Young learners will explore the Sun, Moon, planets, stars, and asteroids while uncovering the scientific principles that make our solar system work. Using hands-on models, crater-making simulations, constellation-building activities, and guided experiments, campers will practice observing, questioning, predicting, and problem-solving.
