Trefoil Ranch Adventure (Ages 10-13)

Make your camp experience what you want! Campers will vote on the activities they participate in, including campfires, cookouts, ropes course, leadership games, art projects, camp songs, and more! Campers will participate in a target sport, like archery or hatchet throwing, and at least one experience on the high ropes course. Horseback riding is not included.
Horse Lover (Ages 8-10)

Visit the Trefoil Ranch horses four times. At the stables, learn how to be safe around horses, grooming techniques, and how to tack your horse. While riding, you’ll learn how to coax your horse into motion and steer your horse in different patterns. Get plenty of practice on your riding form before heading out of the arena for a meadow ride! When you’re not at the stables, you’ll fill your days creating crafts, practicing outdoor skills, and more! Campers will earn the Horseback Riding badge.
Hard Hats and Horse Sense (Ages 10-12)

Develop your equestrian skills this summer at Trefoil Ranch’s stables! You will visit the horses five times where you will learn new riding patterns, strengthen your trotting skills, and enjoy a trail ride. Campers will participate in Saddle Club once per session.

Take your horse skills to the next level as you visit the stables five times, advancing your Western riding skills and equine care knowledge. Campers will participate in Saddle Club once per session. Take an extended trail ride off site with a sack lunch. You’ll also get an introduction to rodeo skills such as flag and racing patterns.
Junior Counselor/Wrangler (Age 17)

"Jump into camp life and practice the leadership and camp skills you’ve built over the years. Junior Counselors/Wranglers (JCs/JWs) will spend one week at Trefoil Ranch in an intensive training program, a refresher of LIT, CIT 1/WIT, and CIT 2 workshops. This also includes components such as emergency procedures, incident reporting, camper management, and bullying prevention. JCs/JWs will participate in a mock interview with leadership staff to learn how camp staff interviews look, and they will receive “Quick Cards” and a “Bag of Tricks.” After completing the week of training, participants will come back to camp for two weeks to complete the Junior Counselor/Wrangler internship. Junior Counselors/Wranglers may choose to complete their internships in a unit or a program area at Camp Cloud Rim or Trefoil Ranch, and will select internship date preferences in their UltraCamp accounts (located with their health forms). Get the traditional overnight camp experience. During each session, campers will enjoy various activities including campfires, cookouts, low ropes, art projects, and camp songs. The JCC has been running summer camps for children ages 2 through tenth grade for generations. Located close to The University of Utah hospital and campus, our camps include swim lessons, field trips, art, fun activities, and memories to last a lifetime! We have a very high retention rate of counselors (they come back year after year because it's so fun!), which translates to campers having the time of their lives!
Beginning Drawing (Age 7-9)

This introductory drawing class starts with the basics and builds confidence step by step. Students will learn how to draw space using simple perspective, explore how people and animals are built, and turn shapes into exciting drawings. Along the way, young artists will practice observation, creativity, and problem-solving. Students will also have the opportunity to display one of their drawings in an exhibition at the Department of Art & Art History at the end of the summer.
Intro to AP Physics (Age 14-17)

This class will mostly cover Newtonian mechanics, including, but not limited to: kinematics, Newton's laws of motion, work, energy, and power. Students will learn to think about problem-solving and the world in general from a physicist's perspective! All material covered will provide a head start for an AP or IB high school Physics course.
