Secure a bulls-eye at the Archery or Hatchet throwing range, and overcome challenges to reach new heights at Trefoil Ranchs' brand-new high ropes course. Join us on this high adventure weekend, complete with a campfire program and s'more roasting.

This program is six days of fun designed for high adventure campers, where you can experience the most highly requested programs at both camps! At Trefoil Ranch, campers will experience the high ropes course and horseback riding. At Camp Cloud Rim, campers will spend time at the pottery studio and waterfront. Campers will also participate in traditional camp activities like hiking and outdoor cooking during the week.

This is the perfect camp for those who want more time at the Camp Cloud Rim pottery studio! Campers will practice their pottery throwing, hand building skills, and sculpting. Campers can also participate in other classic camp activities, such as boating, rock climbing, and spending time around the campfire. What will you create? No pottery experience required.

This program builds on the skills you learned in CIT 1. CITs will expand their skills in camp counseling, increase their ability to manage and teach children, learn about risk management, and resolving difficult situations. In addition to spending time at camp planning and teaching activities and the themed all-camp evening programs. During your second week, you will be placed with a unit of campers or a program area at Camp Cloud Rim.

Bringing together families of all kinds, Family Camp is a great opportunity for quality time in a comfortable, natural setting. Kids (ages five and older) and adults of all ages will play, relax, and create memories with the help of our camp staff. Families will choose whether to have a camp experience bursting with activities or simply spend time together in nature reading or swapping stories.

Girl Scouts of Utah welcomes families to visit our camp properties during our free, preview days. For first-time campers and their families, this is an opportunity to see where campers may sleep, meet the Camp Director and counselors, check out the dining location, create something in arts and crafts, and view some of the program areas. Snacks and activities available for the whole family! Open House is free for all families interested in camp programming.

Riding a horse is one of the most exciting things Girl Scouts can do! But ask any good horseback rider their secret to success, and they'll say that understanding a horse is as important as learning to ride one. During this overnight session, get clued in to horses by learning about how to care for them, what equipment you need, rider lingo and more before grooming, helping tack your horse, and going on an arena ride.

The Leader-in-Training program (LIT) is a building block for Girl Scouts of Utah’s Leadership Programs. LIT is a prerequisite to the Counselor-in-Training, Wrangler-in-Training, and Junior Counselor/Wrangler programs.

The Girl Scout Mariner Program is designed for adventurous campers who have a passion for water activities. Our waterfront team will teach you all about the different watercrafts at Camp Cloud Rim, how to efficiently steer canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards, and how to recover after capsizing. Show off your new skills with an end of the week regatta! When you’re not at the waterfront, enjoy classic camp activities such as exploring nature, arts and crafts, and time around the campfire.

Get to know Trefoil Ranch’s horses as you visit the stables three times during this camp session. Learn how to start, stop, and turn your horse before playing games such as “Red Light, Green Light” on horseback! In addition to riding in the arena, you’ll learn what a horse eats, how to groom a horse, and how to stay safe around horses. Round out your camp experience by making a horse craft, participating in a cookout, and other activities in the new camper choice blocks!

Senior and Ambassador equestrian enthusiasts, gather for Range Riders! Visit the stables five times to learn all about horse care and practice your riding skills. You will also learn about rodeo events, go on a trail ride, and receive an introduction into English riding. Expand your ground school knowledge by understanding horse feeds and diet, how to care for equipment, and a deeper understanding of horse behavior. Save time to enjoy classic camp activities with the new camper choice blocks!

Take your horse skills to the next level as you visit the stables five times during this session, advancing your Western riding skills and equine care knowledge. Enjoy bringing the horses in for the day from the pasture, as well as grooming and tacking them during Saddle Club. In this session, you will take an extended trail ride off site with a sack lunch. You’ll also get an introduction to rodeo skills such as flag patterns and racing patterns.

Wrangler-in-Training is a two-week leadership program where you’ll continue to expand your knowledge of the equestrian program at Trefoil Ranch, while also learning to work with younger campers throughout your stay. The second week of camp will focus on leading the younger campers through their horse programming at the stables, with support from the equestrian staff.

Experience what summer camp is all about with your favorite adult! This camp is the perfect opportunity for campers (or guardians!) who may be nervous about going to camp for the first time. Participants will be grouped by Girl Scout level and will get a chance to experience a campfire program, participate in a cookout, make a craft or two, and participate in sling shots. By the end of the program, you’ll grow your confidence to take on a program on your own!
