This program is six days of fun designed for high adventure campers, where you can experience the most highly requested programs at both camps! At Trefoil Ranch, campers will experience the high ropes course and horseback riding. At Camp Cloud Rim, campers will spend time at the pottery studio and waterfront. Campers will also participate in traditional camp activities like hiking and outdoor cooking during the week.

This is the perfect camp for those who want more time at the Camp Cloud Rim pottery studio! Campers will practice their pottery throwing, hand building skills, and sculpting. Campers can also participate in other classic camp activities, such as boating, rock climbing, and spending time around the campfire. What will you create? No pottery experience required.

This program builds on the skills you learned in CIT 1. CITs will expand their skills in camp counseling, increase their ability to manage and teach children, learn about risk management, and resolving difficult situations. In addition to spending time at camp planning and teaching activities and the themed all-camp evening programs. During your second week, you will be placed with a unit of campers or a program area at Camp Cloud Rim.

Bringing together families of all kinds, Family Camp is a great opportunity for quality time in a comfortable, natural setting. Kids (ages five and older) and adults of all ages will play, relax, and create memories with the help of our camp staff. Families will choose whether to have a camp experience bursting with activities or simply spend time together in nature reading or swapping stories.

Girl Scouts of Utah welcomes families to visit our camp properties during our free, preview days. For first-time campers and their families, this is an opportunity to see where campers may sleep, meet the Camp Director and counselors, check out the dining location, create something in arts and crafts, and view some of the program areas. Snacks and activities available for the whole family! Open House is free for all families interested in camp programming.

You will visit the horses five times where you will learn new riding patterns, strengthen your trotting skills before transitioning to a canter, and enjoy a trail ride. Expand your ground school knowledge by getting the horses ready for the day in Saddle Club. You will help catch the horses from the pasture, feed them breakfast, and tack the horses.

Visit the Trefoil Ranch horses four times during this camp session! At the stables, you’ll learn how to be safe around horses, grooming techniques, and how to tack your horse. While riding, you’ll learn how to coax your horse into motion, and steer your horse in different patterns. Get plenty of practice on your riding form before heading out of the arena for a meadow ride!

Join other Girl Scouts at Trefoil Ranch for a Valentine themed overnight event! Enjoy this event by baking and decorating cookies, creating a your own Valentines cards to give to loved ones and friends, and making themed crafts in the woodshop. Girl Scouts will work on steps of the new Art & Design badges during this event.

Participants will be grouped into units, assigned camp counselors, and get a chance to experience waterfront programming, a cookout, hikes, and other classic camp activities. By the end of the program, you’ll grow your confidence and be ready for a program on your own!
