Wild Wednesday: Winter Solstice - Ogden Nature Center

*The event has already taken place on this date: Wed, 12/18/2024
Join us in the depths of winter in a celebration of light and birth. The winter solstice is the shortest day and longest night of the year. Learn why generations past celebrated the winter solstice and how some of those traditions snuck into the modern Christmas celebrations. Class begins promptly at 3:45 pm. This 20 minute program led by a teacher/naturalist may be followed by free time on your own to further explore the Nature Center grounds. Please note that the trails and Visitor Center close by 5 pm.
