We are Utah's leader in promoting science, technology, engineering and math learning through fun and exciting hands-on learning opportunities and educator support. We are open to the public on Fridays for Tinker Time; pre-register at stem.utah.gov/hub.

The Utah STEM Action Center is a division of the Utah Department of Cultural & Community Engagement tasked with advancing STEM education best practices in Utah. Besides offering a wide variety of programs for educators, the STEM Action Center is also open to the public on most Fridays for Open Tinker Time.The STEM Action Center's 2000 sq. ft. Innovation Hub is an incubator for best practices for the project-based, career-focused, hands-on learning activities that often happen in makerspaces, FabLabs, and workshops. The Hub currently offers opportunities for participants of all ages to work on meaningful projects, learn valuable new skills, and collaborate with creative STEM makers and tinkerers around the state. Pre-registration for Tinker Time is required; sign up at stem.utah.gov/hub.
