This summer, unleash your child's inner adventurer at our Scuba Explorers Camp! Perfect for young aquatic enthusiasts, this unique program offers a safe, fun, and educational introduction to the underwater world--all in a controlled pool environment. Campers will learn real scuba skills, build confidence, and discover a lifelong love for the ocean. Through SSI's Blue Oceans conservation program, kids will also explore marine life and learn how to protect our underwater ecosystems. While this is a recognition program (not a certification course), the skills gained will give your child a head start toward becoming an Open Water Diver in the future. All activities are supervised by certified SSI Explorers Instructors with a low participant-to-instructor ratio for maximum safety and personal attention. Co-sponsored with Neptune Divers.
- Master basic snorkeling and finning techniques.
- Learn how to use real scuba gear in shallow water.
- Practice essential dive skills such as buoyancy control and mask clearing in a fun, non-stressful way.
- Develop breath-holding skills through beginner freediving and explore movement with a monofin in mermaiding sessions.
- Build self-confidence, discipline, and self-esteem.
- Enhance teamwork and social skills by learning with new friends.
