Rooted Movement Dance Collective (Davis County)

We are not your average dance class. Instead of focusing on technique and performance, we will emphasize the power of music and movement and the ways dance can empower, transform and unite us as humans! Each hour long class will incorporate mindfulness, community building, body positivity, general health/wellness and (of course) dance! All ages, all abilities are welcome! This is an inclusive environment for all bodies & minds!

We will spend the first 30 minutes of each class getting to know each other, tuning into our minds and bodies, stretching and warming up. The last 30 minutes of each class will be dedicated to learning a dance routine that we will record and make into a video keepsake that will feature all participants.
Classes for our Winter Session will be on Tuesdays for six consecutive weeks, the first class 1/17/23 and the final class 2/21/23. We will have a location in Utah County, Salt Lake County & Davis County. Please make sure you select the correct location when registering!
Our class times/locations are as follows:
10-11AM at Studio K in Orem (300 State St, Orem, UT 84097)
1-2PM at DF Dance Studio in SLC (2978 State St Unit B, South Salt Lake, UT 84115)
4-5PM at VIBE Dance Studio in Layton (1310 UT-193 A8--A10, Layton, UT 84040)
The class fee is $75 for each 6-week long session. A $25 deposit must be paid upon registration to secure your spot, and the remaining $50 will be due on the first day of class. Payment can be made via PayPal or Venmo. Please put the participant's name in the notes and which class they are registering for (Orem, SLC, or Layton)
