Newcastle Preschool

Entering it's 4th decade as one of Utah's top preschools, Newcastle is renowned in the community for it's balanced academic approach to early childhood education.

Newcastle is Utah's largest preschool and it has been at full capacity for over 20 years running.  That's a testiment to the quality of Newcastle's culture and results.

What makes Newcastle special?

Newcastle is a very specialized school, offering only part-day academic classes for children ages 3-4 and 4-5. Newcastle is not a child care center.  Newcastle provides balanced academic,social and physical development that effectively prepares children for kindergarten. Program elements include:

• August-June (10 month) school year.
• Outstanding beginning reading program.
• Daily organized music.
• Daily math activities.
• Daily outdoor play.
• Daily art.
• 40-week thematic social studies program.

We enroll year-round, with most families enrolling for the upcoming school year about six months in advance.  Newcastle is a large school and usually has a few scattered positions in most sessions for parents who wish to enroll for the current school year.

Parents may visit the school anytime but the best times to see classes in action is 9:00-10:30 AM of 1:00-2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
