Salt Lake Academy of Music (SLAM) provides K-12 children with inclusive, equitable access to musical instruments, instruction, programs, and opportunities on a free-to-fee sliding scale. Our staff includes up to Ph.D. level instructors, recording artists, symphony players, bandleaders, and more. We offer lessons, performance programs, summer camps, recording arts programs, and more in rock, pop, blues, jazz, classical, bluegrass, and electronic music in our state-of-the-art, centrally-located facility in the Sugar House district of Salt Lake City.
We offer individual instruction, band/ensemble performances, songwriting and recording in rock, classical, jazz, pop, blues, bluegrass and electronic music.
