Canyonlands Field Institute (CFI) is a nonprofit outdoor education organization based in Moab, Utah, dedicated to connecting people with nature and inspiring care for wild places. With over 40 years of experience, CFI offers a diverse range of programs including educational rafting trips, field studies at Professor Valley Field Camp, and specialized adult adventures exploring local flora, fauna, archaeology, and Navajo culture. Their summer camps, school programs, and adult seminars provide unique opportunities to experience the stunning red rock country of the Colorado Plateau. CFI's mission focuses on quality outdoor education, fostering environmental stewardship, and renewing the human spirit through immersive experiences in Utah's breathtaking canyon landscapes
This summer, give your kid the chance to explore, make friends, and play.
With options for ages 6 through high school, you are sure to find a program your kids will enjoy. Day Camps run Monday through Friday and begin and end at CFI headquarters in Moab. Overnight camps also begin and end at CFI headquarters, and include food, camping, and river gear needed throughout the camp.
All camps and summer opportunities use hands-on nature based activities to promote connection to self, others, and the outdoors!
