Camp GOTR

During the week-long camp, participants will enjoy building friendships in a fun and inclusive setting that includes interactive games, being physically active, and expressing creativity through arts and crafts and storytelling. Led by caring and qualified Girls on the Run coaches, Camp GOTR provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity for all girls, including girls with disabilities, to develop self-confidence, have fun with friends, and learn life skills they can use now and as they grow.
The theme for the camp will be Girls Have Power: Girls will learn about the power they possess to recognize emotions in themselves and others, and how to express their feelings through fun and interactive activities, building workshops, creative skits, and more!
Program registration includes:
- Lesson handouts and materials
- Camp GOTR t-shirt and water bottle
- Camp GOTR cinch backpack
- Camp GOTR bracelet
- Completion certification
- Snacks (picky eaters, please feel free to pack something extra)
- So much fun!
Accommodations: Activities have been adapted to be appropriate for all girls whether they walk, run, push, or roll. In addition to doing physical activities, girls will be writing, speaking, reading, listening and following directions in a group setting. During the registration process you will have the opportunity to identify the accommodations needed to provide a safe and inclusive experience for your girl.
