ACTIVITIES AT THE EXPO
SCALES AND TAILS UTAH
Scales and Tails Utah will be bringing in a large reptile and bird display for your viewing pleasure! You'll be able to see a 17 foot Reticulated Python, a 6.5 ft American Alligator, a 90 pound Sulcata Tortoise and a 6 ft Asian Water Monitor as well as a variety of other cool reptiles and exotic birds!
WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
Ever dream of becoming a wildlife photographer? Or do you simply want to get better at taking amazing wildlife photos with the camera gear you got at Christmas? Now is your chance to be part of an experience that will knock your socks off. Join us as professional wildlife photographer Rob Daugherty shares his years of wisdom in an engaging and informative workshop.
Rob has spent countless days in Yellowstone & Teton National Parks, Alaska, and exotic spots around the world like Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Zambia. Listen as he relives some of his favorite animal encounters and shares some tricks of the trade. Learn to animal track, how to be prepared with the right gear and knowledge to maximize the mere seconds there is to capture thee epic wildlife shot, and everything you could possibly want to know about wildlife photography. Bring your questions for the guru and we'll see you there!
NWTF INDOOR BB GUN RANGE
How are your kids BB gun skills? Are they a seasoned expert or would like to try it out and learn? Upstairs on the second floor, NWTF will be bringing an indoor range and BB guns for show attendees to try out their hand and marksmanship. A huge favorite for the kids! Daisy will be at the show with seasoned instructors to work with young people to teach gun safety rules and marksmanship skills.
HUNTERS SAFETY REFRESHER COURSE
Utah Division of Wildlife Resources will be hosting a Hunters Safety refresher course at The Big Outdoors Expo. They will be upstairs on the third floor in one of the education rooms on Saturday, the 28th between 1pm and 3pm.
WASATCH GUIDE SERVICE
Experience the fantastic fly fishing that the state of Utah has to offer. Come learn to fly fish with the pros and learn about the Provo River, Weber River, and other great Utah fly fishing streams, lakes and rivers with Wasatch Guide Service (WGS), the most elite Utah fly fishing guide service and outfitter in Utah.
HELP STOP POACHING TRAILER
Stop by and see Utah's Fish and Game law enforcement poaching trailer. You will see several magnificent animals and their stories of people who illegally took a creature from you and me because of their greed and disregard for wildlife. This trailer is a great tool in helping preserve Utah's wildlife.
