Barnyard Babies - Clark Historic Farm

Snuggle, Play and Learn! ​​Springtime means baby animals at the Clark Farm! This year we're especially excited to bring you back to Barnyard Babies, with all the normal pre-covid activities! On the last Saturday in April and the first Saturday in May, local farmers bring their newest additions to the farm to pet and snuggle. Cuddle up with some of the town’s newest residents; you'll love petting lots of fuzzy little farm animals and even some exotic species like a wallaby, capybara and zebra! Pony rides, demonstrations, vendors, food will be there--maybe even the chance to get your picture with a special "unicorn" friend! Watch sheep shearing, wool spinning, goat milking and other demonstrations, and learn how Charles Anderson and other early residents made their fortunes in the sheep business. Celebrate Grantsville’s Swedish and English heritage with Maypole activities, and enjoy a little Derby Day horseracing fun! (Activities change each year--check out this year's schedule!)
