Powerstories Theatre believes that powerful connections begin with a story. Stories help others feel valued and validated. They help people feel alive and engaged in their communities. Our mission at Powerstories Theatre is to stage true stories of women and girls to open minds and hearts. The mission for this workshop is to help you realize the power of your story…and use it to thrive.
All workshops to be held on Zoom at 7 PM EST on June 11, June 18, June 25, July 9, July 16, and July 23.
This signature workshop has been taught to thousands of women since 2000. If you are a woman who wants to articulate who you are, what you stand for, and how you contribute to the world, this workshop is for you. It will support you in seeking to know and build your own story for personal, business, or entertainment reasons. Both beginner and experienced storytellers are welcome.
- Identify your message of truth
- Uncover work and life story topics
- Realize the power of the personal story
- Develop a five-minute story
- Learn tips on crafting a story and techniques for sharing it
Your workshop includes the following:
- Expert instruction by two experienced professionals, Fran Powers and Janice Creneti
- 10 hours of online instruction (includes the optional 30-minute bonus)
- A 45-minute private consultation
- Free registration to a Powerstory Conference in Tampa March 2026
- 35-page workbook
- Access to all recorded sessions
- Lifetime access to all class recordings and online resources
- Opportunity to present story to a Zoom audience
- Opportunity to present story to a live audience at Voices of Women Theatre Festival
Cost is $495 (with full Jo Ranney scholarship available)
Participants will be emailed a Zoom link to join the private online workshop.
