Join us for this 10-week course focused on different makerspace tools and techniques. Class begins January 7, 2026.
Dates: January 7, January 14, January 21, January 28, February 4, February 11, February 18, February 25, March 4, March 11.
Time: 1:30 - 3:30 PM
Minumum Age: 10
Maximum Age: 17
Prerequisites: Basic computer skills such as typing and using a mouse. Comfortable opening and using computer programs.
Summary: This course will spend time on various techniques and tools found in the Innovation Hub makerspace. Combining technology with making, participants will learn how to design for and use the laser cutter/engraver and 3d printers. They will learn to use the cricut machines, how to sublimate and even how to sew, and finally they will gain some wood working skills making pen on the lathe, a pen box, and get artistic with string art.
