Nicknamed the “pandas of the sea,” these shy marine mammals are going extinct right before our eyes. The Vaquita porpoise is the most endangered marine mammal, with less than 30 Vaquitas left in existence. Visit the Aquarium on July 7 learn about Ghost nets and how they are threatening this species, pick up an easy-to-follow guide for sustainable seafood choices, and learn how you can avoid single-use plastics. These practices are vital in helping all marine life and preventing more species from going extinct.
All Vaquita day activities are included with general admission.
