X-ray is an important part of medical treatment and diagnosis. Its also very useful in many other applications. This class will explore what an X-ray is, what common uses for X-ray are, what it is used for, how we visualize it and ways of improving that visualization.
Students will build their own X-ray visualization box with light source and then explore different filtration while viewing an X-ray film to determine the effect of filtration on an image.
A one-time participation fee of just $5 is required and it grants you access to all the resources and materials you’ll need to get started.
