Color Blast, Summer Camp at the Visual Art Institute

Prepare for a week of vibrant adventures as we dive into the colorful world of art in our electrifying Color Blast class! Calling all young artists aged 5-8, to get ready to unleash their imagination and explore the endless possibilities of color in this dynamic and fun-filled experience. 

In Color Blast, we'll dive into the exciting realm of mixed media, where we'll wield a rainbow of tools including colored pencils, pastels, watercolors, bake-able clay, and markers. From swirling hues to dazzling shades, every day promises new discoveries and endless opportunities to express their creativity. Your child will mix, blend, and splash their way to creating masterpieces that are as unique as they are! In Color Blast, getting a little messy is all part of the fun! After all, some of the most brilliant creations come from a little bit of chaos!

Let's paint the town red (and blue, and green, and yellow...) together in Color Blast – where every stroke is a celebration of imagination and expression.

Ages: 5-11

DROP-OFF/PICK-UP INFORMATION:

Drop-Off begins 15 minutes before the start of camp.

All students must be picked up within 15 minutes of the end of camp.

Please come into the building to drop-off and collect your child from the teacher. You will need to sign in and out your child.

SNACKS/CLOTHES:

Please send a small snack and a water bottle with your child. Please write your students name on any bottles or bags.

Art can get messy! Please wear clothing that can get a bit dirty.

REFUND POLICY:

We are only able to offer refunds up to 2 weeks before the start of class. We do not offer refunds or credits or make up classes to students who miss class.

TRANSFER POLICY:

We may be able to transfer you to a different class depending on space availability.

CLASS CANCELLATION:

We find that students learn better in larger groups. If we feel the number of registrations is too low to promote a good learning environment, we may cancel the class. In the event we cancel a class, we will reach out to you as soon as possible to come to a solution.

TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM:

We try to make our classes as accessible to everyone as possible. We are able to offer a limited number of tuition assistance scholarships each term. You can complete an application on our website or call our office for assistance applying.

MULTI-CLASS DISCOUNT:

When you register for more than one class, you can receive a discount up to 10% per class!

ADA ACCESSIBILITY & ACCOMMODATIONS:

Our classrooms are ADA accessible. Some courses may involve tasks or activities that may be difficult for individuals with limited strength, difficulty bending over, and sitting or standing for long periods of time. We are happy to work with students to find solutions to make their experience positive and doable. For example, wheel throwing takes arm strength and bending over the wheel. Students may work on hand-building projects instead of throwing. Please reach out to our office to discuss your needs.
