For musicians and non-musicians alike, this hands-on introductory course into music production uses the latest computer technology for creating, recording, and writing music. Learn the basics of music notation, audio and midi file types, mic types and placement strategies (hands-on work with mics, mixers, and interfaces), digital audio editing, Apple loops and beats, mixing (panning, reverbs and delays, submasters), software instruments and introduction to synthesis.
