WINTER DAY CAMPS - Utah's Hogle Zoo

When the days get short and the temperature drops, animals must find a way to survive the winter season. Some may migrate, others hibernate! Come discover how animals have adapted to endure the cold winter season! Campers will spend the day doing hands-on activities, crafts, playing games, and will get up-close animal experiences!

Tropical Winters
Escape the bitter cold Utah weather with us as we explore regions that stay warm during the winter! Discover tropical rainforests, dry savannas, and hot deserts! Campers will learn how the adaptations of animals differ in warm and cold climates, and how some animals travel long distances to escape the cold! The day will consist of hands-on activities, fun games, crafts, and animal encounters!
