The Utah Scholastic Chess Committee (USCC) is a committee of the Utah Chess Association (UCA) and works in collaboration with the UCA to create a quality chess program for players in the state of Utah. The USCC focuses on players in grades K-12, their parents, coaches, clubs and schools. One of its primary goals is to promote scholastic chess throughout Utah including encouraging new players, supporting clubs, and providing tournament opportunities for players at all ability levels.
