The Lion King Jr. - Heritage Theatre

Heritage Theatre Utah is proud to present their youth program by presenting Lion King Jr. as their premier opening show. This is a summer program for children ages 9 to 15. Those involved with the production will have an opportunity to learn about movement, voice, character, and the process of putting on a full musical production. There will be a participation fee and costume fee associated with this program with discounts for multiple children. Auditions will be in late May with performances in July.

What story kicks off a new adventure better than Lion King Jr? New friends, old enemies, and the quest to find one’s best self set against the backdrop of the African savannah. Audiences of all ages will enjoy this classic tale re-tooled to suit a cast of young actors live on stage. Come laugh and cry with us as Simba makes his perilous journey to Pride Rock.
