MAKERSPACE MADNESS – SIGNATURE CAMP
A Makerspace is an area where creators can come together to share ideas, equipment, and knowledge. Campers will create a variety of projects using equipment and supplies in the Makerspace that will show their amazing creative skills.
GAMES FOR CHANGE
Explore the connection between science and gaming. In this camp, campers will learn all about game design! As they begin to create their own game, they’ll make connections to STEM and gaming that will help them in this camp and beyond.
STEM MISSION
Discover and investigate! Campers will work together with other campers to solve a problem using science, technology, engineering, and math. As they combine these elements together, they’ll use critical thinking and teamwork skills.
MYSTERY AT THE BIOSPHERE
Problem solve in this insect adventure! Campers will use the Butterfly Biosphere as the canvas for their imagination. Working as a team, they’ll use STEM to solve mysteries and learn about the natural world.
AUTISM ADVENTURE (GRADES 6-12)
A fun adventure for youth with autism, ages 11-18 (or entering grades 6th-12th in the fall of 2022). Children will grow and connect with other children. Participants must be verbal, must be able to use the restroom independently.
SPACE MISSION
Adventure through space! Campers will take a journey to the stars in this immersive camp. As they work together with their team, they’ll use STEM concepts and apply them to real life astronomy problems to help them on their expedition in outer space.
