This is the original trademarked PRINCESS FESTIVAL based in Utah which played at Hatfieldadelphia for two years; Thanksgiving Point for three years; and then in 6 cities in two states in 2014. In spite of being a private company, The Princess Festival donates net proceeds to the international 501(c)3 charity In Our Own Quiet Way.

There are THREE KEY COMPONENTS to the Princess Festival:
FUN and PLAY
Over 50 fully costumed volunteer actors are on the set at all times acting out carefully scripted, audience-participation adventures. For example, after check-in at their scheduled time our guests are whisked away in a small group by Alice and the Mad Hatter (or similiar public domain characters) for a 10-15 minute adventure in one of the enchanted kingdoms of the magical continent of Everley. At the end of that adventure they are escorted by the characters to the next adventure (in all our guests can anticipate 90+ minutes of fully-immersive, interactive participation in stories and adventures, one after the other).
Before, after, and along the way there are side-show performances to delight and tickle the imagination including things such as jugglers, face painters, puppeteers, short improv acts, family-friendly cosplay and more. Of course, Adult chaperones are always invited to tag along with their True Princess or Defender of the Realm. Please do take pictures and enjoy watching your children in full-blown imaginative play.
NEW Princesses
Expertly designed and created Princess Festival characters are in full play at every event. They share the stage with classic Princesses to teach a much more empowered approach of how to be a TRUE Princess.
Each Princess Festival Princess lives in one of the Magical Kindoms of Everley. Endowed with rich and complex personalities; and replete with with family, friends, and flaws; Princess Festival Characters find themselves caught up in tragedies. Sometimes these are floods, earthquakes, or other nantural disasters - and sometimes they're more personal challenges such as prejudice, bullying, loss of a loved one, or abuse.
But our Princesses never sit and wait hoping that a prince will come along to rescue them!! Oh, no.
Princess Festival stories assuredly don't revolve around the concept or idea that a Princess’s ultimate goal is to “catch a man.” Rather, they support the truth that each person can Find the Magic Within™ him or herself to find solutions to hard problems.
TRUE Princesses and Defenders of the Realm grapple with and then overcome their real-world challenges. They make mistakes, for sure ... but in the end, (and with the guidance of a Hobbyduke mentor) they become More Than a Princess™ and come to know that they're catlaysts for postive change in the world.
Making a Difference
The Princess Festival not only presents wonderful STORIES for our young guests to participate in but it also gives them opportunities to consider who they, themselves, are and what they stand for.
Grounded in (non-religious, non-political) Ethical Philosophy, Princess Festival characters, stories, and adventures all model creative, collaborative, pro-social, compassionate problem solving; and they provide context for Princesses and Defenders of the Realm to ask themselves "Hm...what will I do when _____?"
Finally, over the years, almost all net proceeds from the Princess Fesival's annual event have been donated to multiple local and international charity organizations. Currently, with each ticket a True Princess or Defender of the Realm purchases, funds are donated to In Our Own Quiet Way - a 501(c)3 non-profit which provides medical, shelter, nutrition, and educational needs for children.
