Did you know that first grade is a make-or-break year for reading development? Studies show that when children don’t develop key foundational skills in early grades, it creates a chain reaction that can make catching up in later years nearly impossible.

This summer, Hoot Reading’s Ready to Read literacy tutoring program can give your child the personalized support they need to excel. Designed for kids entering Kindergarten or Grade 1 in the fall of 2025, our program focuses on the critical skills that help kids become fluent, confident readers.
