Are you a creative detail-oriented person who is passionate about innovation and in search of a place to self-express? This five-day workshop will provide you with a chance to explore this multifarious field and will culminate in a huge Fashion Show event where you will market your new fashion line. Students will develop their sense of color, texture and detail; they will sketch, sew, render and pattern while embellishing their creative ideas visually and verbally with studs, patches, stencils, textures, dye, and other accents. No prerequisite required, although some sewing experience is an asset. Co-sponsored with Higher Ground Learning.
Learning Outcomes:
- Learn and augment sewing skills
- Study how design and color interact
- Develop confidence for one’s own style
- Develop skills throughout the design and creation process
Details: Camp held at Higher Ground Learning, 380 West Pierpont Avenue, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. Reminder emails will be sent out before camp begins and will include location notes and other details.
