KidsOutAndAbout.com is currently seeking an enthusiastic regional editor to join our team in Salt Lake City

This is a part-time contract position, though you will be able to work from home and have a flexible schedule.

The ideal candidate:

• Is passionate about KidsOutAndAbout and has a desire to convey our mission
• Loves to talk on the phone
• Is eager to learn new technology and show our clients how to use it.

Here's what winning at this position looks like! Our new SLC editor will

• Maintain a robust calendar of events by inputting a minimum number of events per week.
• Write the local portion of our weekly e-newsletter.
• Write reviews of local events and attractions using our standard format.
• Develop relationships with organizations that don't yet post their events, classes, and camps to our site, and show them how to be visible on KidsOutAndAbout for free.
• Strengthen relationships with organizations that already post to our site for free
• Nurture clients on the phone
• Nurture clients via email

Headquartered in Rochester, NY, KidsOutAndAbout.com started expanding outside of Rochester in 2010 and is now growing rapidly. Requirements:

• Confident and outgoing, with the ability to interact effectively with a variety of people
