Christmas Concert at the Cathedral of the Madeleine - The Salt Lake Children's Choir

Our Cathedral Concerts, a tradition begun back in 1984, will be presented Friday, Nov. 30 and *Sunday,* Dec. 2 at 8 PM in the Cathedral of the Madeleine--331 E South Temple. It will feature music of Bach, Handel, and other masters as well familiar and lesser-known carols from many lands--including "Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming," "O Du Fröhliche," "Bring aTorch, Jeanette, Isabella, and :Venir,pastocitos" (from Peru). Also heard will be."the beautiful Dostoyno yest by Pavel Chesnokoff and the choir;s traditional closer, the sublime "Sleep of the Child" by Henri Büsser The evening will conclude with combined choirs and audience joining in several carol favorites.

These concerts are offered to the public at no charge. However, for those able to make a contribution, the suggested donation is $10. Admission is limited to those over age 6.
