July Seminar: Everyone talks about probate, but what is it and how much does it cost? Is it something to avoid or to embrace? Is it the same thing as estate administration? This seminar will answer these and other questions. Anyone who may be an executor or personal representative in someone’s will, or who has an estate and needs to write a will should attend.
August Seminar: This seminar is on providing for loved ones with special needs using a special needs trust. We will discuss the foundational estate planning vehicle for preserving a beneficiary’s governmental assistance when they inherit assets: The Special Needs Trust or SNT. Designed specifically to preserve SSI and Medicaid benefits, an SNT distributes assets only to supplement government benefits, not replace them. Who should attend? Those with children or parents or friends or family members with special needs.
