Online Event: Baby Sign Language Storytime 11:30 am EST - Baby Sign Language with Ms. Stephanie
Children of all ages are welcome, as are their grown-ups. I look forward to engaging little ones and their parents, nannies, grandparents, and other caretakers as we practice some vocabulary, sing some songs, and read some books. We'll learn some useful communication signs, and I hope we’ll have lots of fun together!

Baby Sign Language borrows from ASL, or American Sign Language. By incorporating signs for key words you use with your little ones every day – such as milk, potty, and help - you can help them learn to express their needs before they can communicate orally. And a child who is already communicating orally can have fun learning signs while exercising their amazing sponge brain. For older little ones who might eventually want to learn American Sign Language - a rich language that is part of the unique culture of the Deaf community - this can be a stepping stone to get them interested in future study.
