Hop aboard a new flight as we engage with the world of flying machines! Thanks in part to our friend Leonardo da Vinci, flight and aerodynamics are all around us in applications that affect everyone. Campers will look at flight throughout history as they create their own hangars, flying machines, and aerodynamic objects. Come join us in the skies!

Advanced Comic & Manga Art (Age 14-17)

NHMU second and third grade camp sessions are for students who will enter either of these grades in the fall of 2024. Most sessions are offered in a full-day, Monday-Thursday format with no camp on Friday. There are two 3-day weeks (M-W). We'll have a morning and an afternoon snack break, along with a midday lunch break. Two substantial snacks, a non-refrigerated lunch, and a water bottle will need to be brought from home each day. Camp sessions of the same name are the exact same camp, just offered at a different time so please don’t register for both. Camper drop-off and pick-up take place at NHMU, unless otherwise noted. Please note that not all school districts begin and end summer break at the same time—check your school schedule before registering.

Girl Scouts of Utah offers a variety of activities at our two camp properties. Whether you enjoy horseback riding, rock climbing, or art activities, we've got the camp for you!

Have the opportunity to train with Ballet West Academy faculty and enjoy dancing, crafts, storytime, and make-believe! Students will incorporate ballet-based movements and imaginative artwork to explore the world of fantasy! Students will walk away from this week of learning with fond memories, movement development, outstanding artwork, and fun costumes. This camp is for ages 3-5 and ages 6-8 (please refer to the website for further information).

Level-up your robo-skills! Now that you have a foundation in building and programming your creative ideas into robotic realities; it is time to sharpen those skills and create your own designs. In addition to using LEGOs, you'll have access to more material to explore in this Inventor's Workshop. You'll be guided by seasoned veterans as your journey continues, using new tools, electronics, sensors and taking on daunting (but fun) interactive problem solving situations!

BalletNEXT and Park City Institute are teaming up to bring a unique four-day summer ballet workshop with a culminating performance at the iconic Eccles Center Park City!

Using LEGO Mindstorms Robots, you will engineer designs to build mechanisms to protect micro-controllers and sensors. Use fun design projects to maximize the efficiency of your bot. We've elevated our partnership with Salt Lake Arts Academy this summer to offer a summer of full-day & half-day programs plus pre/after care for kids 8+. Activities include swimming, skating, biking, as well as our signature half-day Adventures and full-day Journeys programs. in all of our programs, we let the kids have a voice to guide the experience. Our small groups deliver big fun with friends!

Want to learn to skateboard? Come shred with us at skate camp this summer! This weeklong camp is for kids from ages 12-17 years old. These camps focus on creating a stoked-filled environment where we facilitate individual growth through group lessons. Campers will set goals, learn tricks, gain confidence, and make new friends! Our team of skate coaches are experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, and work with campers of any skill level.

Come have some fun and work on all things ninja this summer. Our ninja camps will include obstacle course challenges, a progressive level system, games, and so much more! It's going to be a blast!

NHMU Kindergarten camps are designed for children who will enter Kindergarten in the fall of 2024 and who are completely potty trained. All sessions are offered half-day (AM or PM); most are Monday – Thursday format. We have 2 short weeks that run Monday – Wednesday. Note that AM and PM sessions are identical in content and so full day registration is not permitted. Your camper will need to bring a snack and a water bottle each day.
