Guidepost Montessori is offering fun and educational summer camp experiences for Elementary age students 6-12 all summer long, with different themes each week. This week's theme is DRAWING AND DESIGN: Kids will love learning all about the basics of art and getting their hands dirty with drawing and design. Portrait drawing, tessellations, 3D drawing, and parabolic art are just some of the projects kids will work on during this week’s theme. There is lots of meaning to unpack from math and patterns in parabolic art to the origins of portrait drawing and how it has evolved in modern times (hint: selfies). With Guidepost Summer Camp, your child will have the chance to grow their skills in science, art, creative thinking and outdoor games while having an amazing time.

Between 1803-1805, Napoleon Bonaparte led the French Army to conquer most of Europe. The Commands & Colors: Napoleonics board game allows players to recreate some of these historic battles, including Napoleon's famous defeat at the Battle of Waterloo. OUTDOOR SUMMER CAMP AT ALTA

This summer, we invite adventurers age 5 (finishing Kindergarten in 2022) thru 12 years old to spend a week with us doing hands-on science and nature-based activities, as well as partaking in experiential learning on the ecology of the cottonwood canyons! Each camp is all day from 8 am to 5pm, with shorter day options of 9am to 4pm too. Transport from the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon, AND All meals are included!
