This camp is geared toward newer players, who will learn the basics of assembling a commanding deck of cards before the game begins, and the decisions you make based on the cards that you have. Intensive Secondary Math I Honors (Grade 8-10)

Students will deepen and extend understanding of linear relationships, in part by contrasting them with exponential phenomenon, and in part by applying linear models to data that exhibit a linear trend. Students will use properties and theorems involving congruent figures to deepen and extend understanding of geometric knowledge. Algebraic and geometric ideas are tied together.

In this week long course students will build their very own classic, pintail longboard from scratch using maple wood veneer and a simple wood press. Using hand tools and a little bit of sweat we will shape and sand our new boards. Learn the basics of music notation, MIDI control, mic types and placement strategies, digital audio editing, Apple loops and beats, mixing (panning, reverbs and delays, submasters) and software instruments and synthesis. You will also get hands on experience with microphones, sound boards and speakers. Then take a field trip to a professional recording studio and see how the experts do it. Mic drop!
