We All Eat is a food festival highlighting global cuisine with refugee communities in Salt Lake County, with feature presentations on food dishes from different cultures, demonstrations on new cooking techniques, and stories from refugees new to our community.

This afternoon showcase will feature free smells, though food and drink will be available for purchase from various vendors supported by Spice Kitchen Incubator. Cooking is set for 10 am-1 pm at the Columbus Center Auditorium at 2530 S 500 East.

 

The event is one of several during the month as the County Library celebrates refugee awareness as part of our Year of Inclusion, promoting equality, awareness and acceptance in the community.

 

Refugee Supplies Drive

Cleaning and hygiene supplies are needed for refugee families. Items can be donated at any County Library branch.

World Refugee Celebration Day

Games, music, cultural performances and a variety of foods at Liberty Park.

Hope, Strength and Courage

A special discussion at Columbus with Mr. Aden Batar from Catholic Community Services.

Monday, July 17, 7 pm

Book Source Group

Book discussion around refugee stories to be held at the Columbus Senior Center.
