Bacteria are tough little creatures. Researchers are often surprised at the extremes bacterial cells can survive, and BYU’s Daniel Austin and his students are testing their limits. They crash bacterial spores at incredible rates of speed to see if they will survive. Join Austin for a presentation of his work and its implications in fields such as space exploration and nanotechnology.
