Montessori Community School offers Montessori curriculum for infants through sixth graders. Summer camp is available to academic year students.

Excellence in Montessori since 1985. Offering a traditional, comprehensive Montessori curriculum, Infants - Sixth Grade (3 mo. - 12 yrs.). Formerly "Third Avenue Montessori", "Second Avenue Montessori", "Tenth East Montessori" and "Cottonwood Canyon Montessori" consolidated into one great location near the University of Utah.

Students learn language, mathematics, sensorial, practical life, geography, history, physical and life sciences, Spanish, creative movement and dance, music, art, theater, computers and other technology, nutrition, physical education, winter sports, peace education, conflict resolution and environmental stewardship. Learning extends beyond the classroom through field trips, environmental expeditions and community service. Our Infant Program (3-18 mo.) accepts children from three to eighteen months. The Toddler Program (18 mo. - 3 yrs.) accepts students from eighteen months to three years. Our Early Childhood Program (3 - 6 yrs.) accepts children aged three years through six years. Our Elementary Program (6 - 12 yrs.) offers placements for first, second and third graders plus fifth and sixth graders, ages six to twelve years old.
