Combination classes are a great way for students to experience different types of dance in a one-hour instructional time. This fun, age-appropriate introduction to jazz and hip hop centers on basic isolation techniques, rhythms and high energy inherent in both dance styles.
The goal of the jazz, hip hop, and musical theater classes is to develop dancers who are dynamic, versatile, and technically strong. These styles explore a variety of both lyrical and percussive qualities, with a focus on rhythm and isolations. Each class progresses through a warm-up, across the floor and extended combinations. We pride ourselves on being a family oriented dance studio and go out of our way to use clean, age-appropriate music and movement.
