Bug Brigade at NHMU

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 03/23/2019
Twice a month we offer visitors an opportunity to observe and handle live bugs to learn about these arthropods' anatomy, behavior and important ecological roles. Bug Brigade occurs on every second and fourth Saturday of the month from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

With this program, we are encouraging visitors to overcome misconceptions that bugs are creepy pests. We offer a deeper understanding of these creatures and hope that the Bug Brigade inspires backyard bug investigations after the visit.

The NHMU Entomology Department has supported the expansion of this program by periodically adding new bugs to the Brigade.

Every second and fourth Saturday of the month from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.

Included in Museum admission
