Partner Camp with Bad Dog Arts

Spend four days exploring the rich histories and vibrant contemporary cultures of Utah’s indigenous peoples. Each morning at NHMU, campers will experience the important role of storytelling, music, dance, and symbolism in passing culture through the generations. Campers will learn how to weave while creating rock art and pottery. Plus, meet some of the people carrying these traditions forward in new and exciting ways. While at Bad Dog Arts each afternoon, students will explore and create artwork inspired by our state’s natural beauty, wonderful wildlife, and first inhabitants. Drop camper off at NHMU by 8:30am and pick up at Bad Dog Arts by 4:30pm. Transportation between sites is provided.

NHMU fourth and fifth grade camp sessions are for students who will enter either of these grades in the fall of 2017. For Partner Camp listings, where needed, transportation between sites is provided. Please note that not all school districts begin summer break at the same time—check your school schedule before registering. Price and duration of camps vary. See individual listings.
